Australian sheds company launches NZ franchise

Written on the 28 October 2010

Industry-respected Australian steel building supplier, Wide Span Sheds, has just announced the release of franchise opportunities in New Zealand.

Supplying a comprehensive range of garages, farm sheds, barns, arenas and stables, plus industrial and commercial buildings, the franchises will be linked in to Wide Span Sheds powerful Shed Management System (SMS) for all quoting, tracking and delivery data.

According to Wide Span Sheds Sales Marketing Manager, James Folwell, the franchise opportunity requires the franchisee to hold a Builder’s Licence. In return Wide Span Sheds offers business, technical and marketing support with regular one-on-one business support, advertising and promotional campaigns plus in-store visual identity and merchandising.

The franchise opportunity also delivers dedicated marketing zones and is supported by Steel and Tube’s manufacturing centre and delivery-points.

Founded in Australia in 2002 and launched in New Zealand in 2006, Wide Span Sheds has enjoyed a measured yet swift rise to success in the steel building industry. As one of the most industry-respected suppliers, Wide Span Sheds’ range comprises Class 10 sheds, garages, workshops, barns, arenas and stables, as well as a select range of commercial and industrial premises in assorted classes.

With product lines spanning multiple consumer and commercial channels, Wide Span Sheds’ success lies in their ability to create market-responsive standard designs, while adhering to efficient standard pricing schedule.
